Review of Get Carter (2000) by Alexander J — 28 Jun 2007

I wouldn't consider it that bad. Alright, the dialogue's a bit cheesy and simple and it always rains (in Vancouver). But - as a nod to the original - Michael Caine's in it and the film's grim look actually counts for something.

Stallone CAN act differently to Rambo and Rocky and co. But he cannot replace Caine's character and Mickey "Face Job" Rourke? Ewww... This is more like a "enhanced-pills-takers-now look-at-the-effects-it-has-on-my-body" reunion, I'd say.
