Review of Get Carter (2000) by Tony P — 01 Aug 2007
The entire film is rediculously incoherent. The cinematography is God awful, with irradic camera motions, fade-ins and fade-outs that don't even make sense.... Stallone's character is SO poorly drawn.
.. I honestly believe it was a good idea to remake this film, even to cast Stallone, but the direction is the poorest quality out there. Perhaps it was this T. Kay motherfucker's pathetic attempt to reinvent film for the new millenium.
All it has going for it is a handful of decent action sequences, then Mickey Rourke and John C. McGinley.
