Decent acting, average but "fun" writing. Though not groundbreaking (at least in reality, as the movie has quite a bit of it), sometimes it's OK to just sit back with some popcorn, enjoy a movie, suspending disbelief of science, then smile at a happy ending.
A definite rent, or at bare minimum watch when it's available on Netflix, TV, wherever. This is a great "I can't sleep and there is nothing I really feel like watching" movie, as you don't work the brain very hard, the visuals are pretty good but not overwhelming; wow, I'm honestly stunned I enjoyed this as much as I did. Like I said, sometimes it is alright to make a "Fun" movie with a happy ending.
