Review of George and the Dragon (2004) by George P — 21 Feb 2008
George and the Dragon is a light fare aimed for children and adults alike. The budget is not that of epic proportions, but the cast is filled with big name stars who perform admirably given the genre of the film, and the lack of authenticity to the costume.
While there are no Oscar worthy performances here, the film is quite enjoyable. Those who want more of an adult film, with violent, action packed sequences, and rapture, would better leave this film for something more to their taste, but for the intended audience, there should be little to dislike.
I mean, come on, Piper Perabo is in it! :).
