A bright and breezy concoction that provides the odd giggle. Most of the songs are dire however the Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend routine - aped by Madge in her Material Girl video and covered by Nicole Kidman in the wonderful Moulin Rouge - is a standout.
Monroe plays dumb and Russell plays feisty. Fun but hardly classic.
