The real-life story of the 1973 tennis match between women's world champion Billie Jean King and ex-men's-champ and serial hustler Bobby Riggs is an interesting one, given its status as the most watched televised sports events of all time, reaching 90 million viewers around the world.
Emma Stone is excellent as King, conflicted about her sexuality but determined to forge forward in quest for equal rights (and pay) for female players, but Steve Carell is then left to play catch-up as the contrasting comical character.
