Review of Gattaca (1997) by Jacob E — 28 Mar 2011
This was actually a pleasant surprise. The overall look of the movie wasn't great and many things could have been easily perfected; however, the story was good enough to where you could over look the issues it had.
Gattaca is set in the future where every child is genetically modified to perfection. This leads to segregation where the perfect kids are getting the jobs, and the unmodified ones are being tossed aside.
For one man, that is not okay and he will do anything to achieve his dreams of becoming an astronaut. Gattaca is the amazing story of his journey in becoming 'perfect', and is definitely going on my favorites list.
