Review of Gattaca (1997) by Matt U — 21 Jul 2014
It loses its steam near the end, but Gattaca is well-acted, intelligent and incredibly visionary take on the future with interesting visuals, solid performances, involving story and original premise. Its second act is flawed, but the first one and the ending are phenomenal raising in the process a lot of though-provoking questions and leading to what is arguably one of the most underrated science fiction films.
