Review of Gangster Squad (2013) by Justice D — 17 Jul 2013

I don't know why everyone is hating on this movie. I enjoyed it. It's hard to believe that this was actually based on a true story. The movie is very stylish and has a lot of action to it. But I don't think it really needed the R rating.

I mean there was only one scen when they showed like guts and that was in the beginning. The actors are amazing. Amazing performances all around. Especially Sean penn who plays Mickey cohen. He gave an amazing and realistic experience.

I think he stole the show because you believed everything he was saying. And the way he just killed people off. Truly terrifying. I also liked josh brolin and ryan gosling. They both kicked ass. This movie is very entertaining and I really actually cared about the characters.
