An all star cast can't save this bloated over top gangster film. Set in 1949 Los Angeles, Sean Penn plays Micky Cohen a ruthless gangster trying to control the city. A squad of detectives tis formed to bring him down.
This film lacks any subtlety, just plenty of violence and poor dialogue. Overall very disappointing.
