I have a story. I was looking for a great movie to watch. Normally I don't mind too much but this particular day I wanted a GREAT movie. Now I'm a fan of Ryan Gosling. He's never in a bad movie I told myself. Now I was contemplating just watching a movie I've already seen. Maybe watch Inglorious Bastards again. Maybe even lion king. But I said id watch gangster squad. Because Ryan Gosling is never in a bad movie. Well turns out he is.

Some good elements. Stolen tropes. Predicated on the idea of a cool gangster however without artistic vision. Character written as if to fit a child's idea of what is cool. Theirs a reason why adults write adult movies. And adults write kids movies. Because kids cant write. I can keep writing a bad review but all bad reviews say the same **** really. Ultimately boils down to two things. Lacks artistic vision. Not entertaining. Now one film can be one or the other more often than not a great film is both. This is neither. Just a bad movie. All bad movies have the same review. I might just copy and paste this review for all my following bad reviews now. Maybe change that little quirky story from the beginning though. Hopefully unlike the movie though my humor will get better.
