Review of Gangster Squad (2013) by April V — 21 Apr 2014

So, surprisingly I really liked this movie. I watched it because there was nothing else, but pretty quickly I realized it wasn't going to be bad. There is a good mix of humor and violence, and the setting is, I think, nicely done.

I usually find myself disappointed in new noir movies, but this one was almost everything I could have hoped for.
