Review of Gangster No. 1 (2000) by Ed S — 21 Jul 2008
Nicely executed (oops!) piece. I was lucky enough to catch this movie at Sundance and there was a Q & A session with the director afterwards. Attractively made, interestingly set up, but unfortunately the last quarter was a bit of a let down.
What went before was good, and all performances were fine. It just lost it a bit at the end, that's all. The 60's London stuff looked great.
