I love David Thewlis (who was brilliant in Mike Leigh's NAKED), but apparently Hollywood doesn't, so it's good to see him in a winning performance, even if it's in a derivative British gangster flick--Bettany is solid, but I don't buy that he'd look like Malcolm McDowell in 30 years.
