Brutal, vicious, well acted, and over the top british thriller with a menacing and wonderful lead performance from Paul Bettany. The actors are all good but the film loses its energy and uniqueness by the end.
we end up wonderfing is that all there is and why do we want to care about a bad man without any redeeming qualities. It could have been a classic.
