Review of Gangs of New York (2002) by Scott S — 14 Aug 2012
It is not a masterpiece, nor Scorsese's best film. But regardless of those two statements, what we are left with is a film that deserves recognition for what it is: a very good film from an excellent director who knows how to tell a story.
The film is greatly supported by the mesmerizing performace of Daniel Day-Lewis.
