Beautifully filmed, wonderfully acted and the story is amazing. This movie has so much to say and can be watched over and over again. Daniel Day Lewis steals the spotlight from young Leonardo but the viewer doesn't mind.
The violence only adds to the realism and the intensity. A wonderful telling of this period of American History.
