Review of Ganga (1960) by Marco M — 12 Nov 2007
Although the film is visually impressive, it lacks some of fluid sequences and use of depth-of-field that makes a Renoir film a Renoir film. Also, the voice-over narration annoyed me to the point of vexation, as well as most of the performances.
The storybook wedding sequence was basically the best part of the film.
