Review of Gandhi (1982) by Roger G — 13 Jan 2009
I watched this in preparation for debate. It is a great story to tell for sure, the acting is awesome, and the movie overall very well done. One problem: it is was too lengthy. Cut maybe a half hour off and it would have been bearable.
But in the end, it's another Best Picture that earned the award in its own right, and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a good biopic.
