Review of Gamera 3: Revenge of Iris (1999) by Patrick G — 20 Oct 2009
"G3: Revenge of Iris" is the best of Kaneko's marvelous reworkings of the former child-friendly terrapin. The special effects are top-notch, but they are used as a service to a surprisingly (for a monster movie) original story, strong acting, and a real forboding and mysterious atmosphere.
