Game Night is your typical color-by-numbers big budget Hollywood comedy. Yet, in spite of that, there are some really enjoyable moments. The action swings between comedic and tense quite well, and the transitions between scenes are very inventive.
The cast all give good performances. The script does have a few distracting plot holes, and sometimes the comedy falls completely flat. It's overall a safe, fun movie.
