Review of Gambit (2012) by Dave M — 29 May 2014
The two stars were for Colin Firth who got the only laughs from me. Cameron Diaz, who I generally like, was downright obnoxious in this movie with her ear splitting Texas accent. In addition, there's not really much of an explanation why Deane (Firth) would like her so much.
Is it because she's pretty? Quirky? Not really characteristics to base a friendship on. Don't even get me started on Alan Rickman who I also usually love. Just do yourself a favor and don't see this.
