Bizarre at times - but this happens to be a biopic about one of the most bizarre and fascinating singer-songwriters France has ever produced. Elmosino shines as Gainsbourg - quirkiness and eccentricities included.
Having a clear beginning and end would have added somewhat to the 'roundedness' of the experience.
