Review of Gaga: Five Foot Two (2017) by Joaquim — 22 Sep 2017
This documentary is about only one thing she needs to be: herself. Whether it is wearing wigs, high fashion outfits or, simply, a black t-shirt, black shorts and her natural hair in a ponytail. Whether it is writing the most danceable club tracks or doing a Jazz version of Bad Romance, by herself on the piano.
Finally, with all the not so important things aside, the most important one we take from this documentary is that Lady Gaga or, Stefani, or Joanne, is a human being just like everybody else. Has feelings just like us.
Is happy, is sad, is anxious, is depressed, is funny, is smart, cries, laughs, is sick, is just fine. She is just like us.
