Review of Futureworld (1976) by Caleb C — 01 Jan 2012

After watching the great Westworld recently I thought I would check out this sequel, now I had heard terrible things about this film l but went into it with an open mind. The Critics were right its shite! To be honest it starts off quite well explaining what happened after the robots went mad in the original, but as the film continues its just descends into crap, Yul Brenner who was a ruthless robotic cowboy killer in the original, is brought back for a romantic dream sequence, what really where they thinking and then when you think it cant get any worse the ending is diabolical, its all sorted out in a phone call! The actual film is well made its just the script is utter crap, a very wasted opportunity, Peter Fonda you should of known better!
