Review of Futurama: Bender's Big Score (2007) by Peter F — 28 Oct 2008

I am happy to see Futurama back again, but somehow, I didn't really enjoy this direct to DVD movie. It had some good points, but it felt like they tried to cram too much in. There was also a lot of bummer moments, Fry looses Leela, Fry get stuck in the past, Fry looses his pet fish thing, The planet express crew loose their jobs, home, and everything, the planet earth is lost, and everyone has to leave, resulting in Leela and company on frozen Neptune.

Leela gets dumped at the alter, Leela Looses her boyfriend, etc. etc. It just seemed like one downer after another. Of course all's well that ends well. Some great jokes, like the Box Network cancelling Planet Express.

All and all a so-so Futurama 2-hr episode.
