The first Futurama movie proved that the show could work in a longer running time. It's filled with references for fans and has lots of laughs. The story is engaging and touching, like all the best Futurama episodes.
It never quite reaches the heights of the very best episodes of the show, but it's very close and very rewatchable. A treat for fans.
