Brutal, cruda y directa. Un vistazo nada bonito a la Segunda Guerra Mundial.

David Ayer, responsable de traernos la prometedora "Escuadrón Suicida" el año que viene, escribe y dirige esta impactante representación de todos los horrores de la guerra en toda su ¿gloria?. Según las propias palabras de Ayer su objetivo con esta película era presentar un mayor nivel de realismo que aquél conseguido por otros dramas ambientados en el mismo conflicto bélico, y la verdad que lo consigue. Desde la primera escena hasta la última, todo lo que presenciamos en "Fury" es feo, es violento, es aterrador, y gracias a eso logra sentirse competamente auténtico. Porque esta no es una historia de héroes combatiendo a los malos, sino que es una historia de hombres salvajes matando a hombres incluso más salvajes. Tal y como reza el tagline de la película: "La guerra nunca termina en silencio". Vaya que no.

Nuestros protagonistas, aquellos a los que acompañaremos durante toda la cinta, son Brad Pitt, Shia LaBeouf, Logan Lerman, Michael Peña y Jon Bernthal, y todos están increíbles. Por momentos despreciables, y de vez en cuando un poco más humanos, los odies o los entiendas, ellos cargan sobre sus espaldas el peso de toda la historia, y lo hacen excelentemente.

Si andabas buscando una película que en lugar de glorificar la guerra y sus "héroes" muestre la situación en toda su caótica fealdad, "Fury" definitivamente es para vos.

David Ayer, responsible for bringing us the promising "Suicide Squad" next year, writes and directs this stunning representation of all the horrors of war in all of its, glory?. In Ayer's own words his goal with this film was to introduce a greater level of realism than the one achieved by other dramas set in the same military conflict, and he really achieves it. From the first scene to the very last one, everything we witness in "Fury" is ugly, is violent, is frightening, and thanks to that everything feels completely authentic. Because this is not a story of heroes fighting the bad guys, but rather a story of wild men killing even wilder men. As goes the tagline of the film: "War never ends quietly." Oh, it certainly doesn't.

Our protagonists, those who we accompany during the entire film, are Brad Pitt, Shia LaBeouf, Logan Lerman, Michael Peña and Jon Bernthal, and they're all amazing. Despicable at times, and occasionally a little more human, whether you hate them or understand them, they carry on their shoulders the weight of the whole story, and they do it excellently.

If you were looking for a movie that instead of glorifying war and its "heroes" shows the chaotic situation in all its ugliness, "Fury" is definitely for you.
