Review of Fury (2014) by Steve G — 06 May 2016
"Fury" is a superb and exciting action and drama film of 2014. The plot to fury is a man named "Wardaddy" portrayed by "Brad Pitt", who is in charge of a tank in World War II.
Later in the movie a new military soldier shows up to be one of the U.S. tank's shooters. He starts off as a coward and weak at first. He and his group are fighting the much superior "Germans'".
The movie starts off with "Wardaddy" silently attacking a "Nazi" fighter and freeing the hoarse he was riding. The scene is a thrilling start to a great film. The middle of the film shows the relationship between "Wardaddy" and "Norman Ellison" portrayed by "Logan Lerman" and the different tours the group goes on.
The film's climax could've been dealt with a bit better, the scene was entertaining but wasn't a good ending. The plot to the movie is great; some characters aren't really fleshed out, as they should've been.
The acting in this movie is amazing "Brad Pitt" and "Shia LaBouf" were stunning. "Steven Price" did a superb job at creating the sadness and thrill of music. This movie was filmed well but director "David Ayer" occasionally used close-ups too much.
"Fury's" genre both a Drama and Action film the drama aspect of the film wasn't very present in the film and the action was pretty good, most action scenes are intense and thrilling.
If you are a person who enjoys "Brad Pitt's" movies then I recommend you watch "Fury" as it has great acting from "Brad Pitt" and "Shia LaBouf" , good action and superb music.
Although the movie has some issues, these being a better climax, drama being more in the movie and some character being fleshed out more. I give 2014's "Fury" an 8/10.
