Review of Fury (2014) by Tyler S — 20 Sep 2016
This is a well acted and directed movie. I find myself thinking of scenes days later. Many of the best scenes involved Shia LaBeouf whom was great in his role as a deeply religious tank gunner whom struggled with the morality of the madness of war and the death he brought to his enemies.
It is a deep almost claustrophobic look at how a tank crew with high mortality rates operates. I am not sure what I was meant to take from the film as there is no overarching lesson or theme. I may have missed it or it just might be a slice of life from a unique perspective of war not often explored.
I plan to watch again soon, which says something about the quality of film.
