Review of Fur: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus (2006) by Julier. — 04 Nov 2006
Whether you know a lot or a little about the life and art of photographer Diane Arbus, Shainberg's film is a wonderful fairy tale version of what could have been her artistic awakening. Both Kidman and Downey Jr.
are superb in their roles as archetypes and fragile humans discovering the true nature of love. Stays with you long after the credits are over.
