I have a much more positive opinion of this movie 5 years after seeing it in theaters. Perhaps it's more in line with my current mind space, and perhaps it's that I watched it on DVD (where I could ya know PAUSE a 2.

5 hour movie). But Judd apatow's movies create a world - a world with a lot of likeable people who tell the occasional knee slapper, and try to get by in life the rest of the time. Think freaks and geeks, even Undeclared to a lesser degree.

So living in this world for an extended run time just feels...comfortable.
