Review of Funny People (2009) by Harry F — 06 Apr 2018

I must ay I really enjoyed this film. It is hilarious, sad, charming and Judd Apatows most matue film. His best? Probably not. But its defintely somewhere on the list. Adam Sandler has one of his best ever comedy roles in George Simmons, the bitter comedian who fins out hes dying.

seth Rogen is pretty much the same as his other films but is still enjoyable, and some of the supporting cast are excellent. Meanwhile, a couple of gags, such as Yo Teach, his flatmates fictional comedy, are well observed.

If you're a fan of Judds other films, then you should defintly consider watching this.
