Review of Funny Ha Ha (2003) by Sweta K — 18 Aug 2008
These off-beat, "unscripted" indie flicks always strike a chord with me. this time, I think it has to do with the fact that the story is all too familiar. a very realistic portrayal (at least from my perspective) of a post-college drifter just trying to figure out her next move.
the dialogue was almost eerily on point, as were the awkward, but charming interactions with the characters. this is definitely an example of where less is more.
