Haneke is a genius. Such a smart and amazing film. Looking forward to the American remake. Not sure about Naomi Watts though…

This was good. I liked it. I liked it because it was good. I listened to the director talk about it…

Review of Funny Games (1997)

By Miles H (160) on 28 Mar 2008

Breaking the fourth wall and doing it well is extremely hard to pull off, and for the most part, I think Haneke manages it nicely…

I recently read American Psycho and I definately think that the two antagonists have a young Patrick Bateman streak in them…

Super unnerving. The remote control scene has to be the biggest outrage in movie history…

Review of Funny Games (1997)

Fucked up in a 'Man Bites Dog' way…

Review of Funny Games (1997)

I remember watching this a while ago, I liked it, it was quite disturbing. But I should see it again because I honestly don't remember much…

Review of Funny Games (1997)

By Phillip J (129) on 27 Mar 2008

Haneke's social commentary is ever-present and his plot execution is extremely disturbing, but the film fails to reach it's full potential…

Review of Funny Games (1997)

Look out for the American release coming this summer. It looks as though it stays pretty true to the story, might be decent…

Review of Funny Games (1997)

Review of Funny Games (1997)

This is a total rabbit hole movie; once it gets going, just about every shot pulls you down further. It stays with you…

Review of Funny Games (1997)

By Andrew P (1,550) on 25 Mar 2008

Very superb--ironic music, despair-filled long takes, and strangely deep meaning are my bag…

Review of Funny Games (1997)

By Azly J (11) on 25 Mar 2008

Absolutely disturbing and it's not even that gory…

Review of Funny Games (1997)

By Trupwn (1) on 25 Mar 2008

If Haneke is trying to make a point that Americans like violence way too much, this is simply not the right way to do it - by feeding them…

It's a god damn looooong and scaaaaary game. I kept watching the time to see when the unfunny game could finally come to an end…
