I don't care what point you're trying to make, if your character motivations aren't believable and your pacing is groan-inducing, your movie sucks.
Also, Haneke is a pompous ass. One of the reviews I read said "Can you handle your mind being fucked with by one of the greatest directors working today?" Guess not.
