Funny Games is truly a disturbing and distraught film. It leaves all hope out. This film is really slow most of the time, but never too dull. Also, while the film is in itself pretty violent, most of the violence is off screen or just moderate.
However, this film is still depressing and intense and scary. It is not for everyone. A lot of people won't/don't like it because of the outcome. I only recommend it to those who can stomach dark, dark stories, or anyone who likes chillers.
