Review of Funny Face (1932) by Danny D — 24 May 2008
Visually stunning with its cinematography and production design, but much of the film just grates, the stage-y musical numbers in particular (the one where they go their separate ways and enjoy Paris on their own terms is good, though).
Also, I find the Fred Astaire/Audrey Hepburn romance to be kind of gross and unsettling. I have no heart.
