Review of Funny Face (1932) by Natalie M — 06 Feb 2013
Wonderful and feel good musical. Hepburn is surprising in this role and I only wish she'd attempted more like this during her film career. Her dancing sequence in the night club is classic and so different to what were are usually subjected to with a Hepburn movie.
It's refreshing and although upon first glance Astaire and Hepburn don't seem to go together by the end of the movie the audience is convinced. Visually a treat to watch.
