If you love to watch insane action scenes with "Edo", "Alo" and some kick ass alchemy, then you will not be disappointed. However if you are wondering if 6 episodes were enough for the film to take you on and journey to solve the mystery of the sacred star of Milos, the answer is no. If you have not watched full metal alchemist and are not familiar with concepts like "equal exchange", "The gate of truth", "Philosopher stone" I doubt that you will be able to follow the story.
In conclusion, sacred star of Milos would have made an exciting anime series, but a mediocre film.
