Review of Fruitvale Station (2013) by Noah D — 19 Jan 2014
Fruitvale Station is a great film in the sense that it exposes the audience to its tragic outcome from the beginning and then builds up a character that you will undoubtedly grow to love until the film's end.
Michael B. Jordan is great in this role and as both a celebration of a young life ended unjustifiably too soon as well as a look at racial tensions and power struggles that still exist in urban environment, the movie works.
