January 1st 2009 World was rejoicing in welcoming the new year but it was not a happy day to Oscar Grant who was brutally hurt and shot by Police officer in Fruitvale Station, California, this incident was captured in many cell phones and went viral in social media igniting the huge protest against Police brutality, this gained huge media converge and raised the sentimental voice in getting justice to Oscar Grant's unfair death.
Ryan Coogler took up this incident and made it into movie, 2013 release '' Fruitvale Station'' is a powerful presentation of Oscar Grant's last days and emotional narration of his connection with his family, Ryan Coogler as a debutant through this heart touching work gave a best reliable expectation on his next works, Michael Jordan as Oscar Grant presented himself so effectively and succeeds in fueling the life into the character, his simple and naturalistic performance is appreciable, the storyline that focuses especially the softer side of Oscar Grant that takes the soothing narration and reaches the terrifying end, scenes like Oscar with his daughter and mother are effectively framed and presents good emotional values.
