Review of Fruitvale Station (2013) by Anthony R — 26 Jul 2014

While this was a good movie, it was nowhere near as good as I have been told it was. The story is "true" and it unfortunately is about an unlikable character. It is sad what happens to him, yes, but you are never really rooting for him.

Another disappointment for me was the ultra-hyped acting of Michael B. Jordan that, as it turns out, was mediocre at best, and flat-out bad in some scenes. It is worth a look, but do not go in expecting greatness or you will be very disappointed.
