Review of Frozen River (2008) by Jeremy P — 21 Feb 2009
If "Quiet Thriller" was a genre of film, Frozen River would be included. A little hard to watch at times, but it's great to see characters like these on film. Good plot, although at times it can be a little predictable.
This does a great job with setting. I got chills several times throughout the film due to the cold nature of the weather and plot activities. If you want to experience a "Quiet Thriller", give it a shot.
