Gripping intimate portrait of less fortunate people at odds with doing what is right in order to survive their mundane ordinary existence with some bit of comfort. Melissa is riveting in a well deserved Oscar nominated performance of a woman trying to hold her broken family together by earning money illegally.
An involving script [also nominated] and attention to detail hold viewers interest from start to finish.
