[Contains a little SPOILER] The best movie I've seen all year. Reminded me of a Jack London Novel: beautiful and terrible, like a glacier about to shatter. Jaw droppingly great cinematography from Reed Morano.
Had my wife bawling her eyes out, even as we were driving to the ice cream parlour afterwards. Ask yourself a question: would you rather pay $5-10 to watch a sentient machine called Optimus Prime (?) transform into a vibrating sex toy or witness a teenager accidentally setting fire to the side of his house with a blowtorch? Melissa Leo finally delivers a 'hard woman' performance to match Sigourney Weaver's Ripley in 'Aliens': believable, vulnerable and "don't tread on me!" Miss it and miss out.
