Wonderful, nuanced performance from Melissa Leo (loved her on Homicide:LOTS). The working poor is rarely given any screentime in movies, but their challenges are given full attention here. Of course, I don't know how many are smuggling illegal immigrants over the Canadian border, but that's another story.
