Review of Frozen (2013) by Elizabeth K — 06 May 2016
"Frozen" is yet another hit from Disney. It has a great adventure, plenty of humor, and show stopping musical numbers. The only flaw is that it slows down in the middle parts, but that's it.
This is a throwback to classic Disney that reminded me a lot of "Tangled", however it wasn't as great as that film. Nonetheless this is the best animated feature of 2013 in my opinion. It has all the heart, music, action, adventure, and excitement that makes a great Disney film.
The movie celebrates the idea that love of family is the greatest power of all and that's a theme you don't always see in these Disney princess movies. This is an enjoyable film for all ages and I must say that Pixar needs to start stepping their game up because Disney animation studios has now proven three times in a row, that it is truly force to be reckoned with.
