Review of Frontier(s) (2007) by Derrick S — 05 Apr 2009
It's a French turn on the 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre' story, with some political context, and nazis instead of redneck crazies. Graphic violence pointing in the direction of tortureporn, call it what you want, but this movie was well crafted and photographed, had some really good acting, and was, by moments hard to watch, and that's a compliment.
Un grand film d'horreur, quoi.
