Review of Frontier(s) (2007) by Marcus A — 21 Apr 2008
If Hostel and Saw gave you a hard-on, then Frontière(s) will make you spunk your pants. It's another torture-gore fest, this time involving a bunch of Parisienne miscreants who flee rioting in the city for the supposed comfort of the countryside.
Only the place they choose to stay happens to be inhabited by a twisted family of cannibalistic Nazis. Although the carnage is pretty grisly, the plot is formulaic and if you've seen Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Wrong Turn, Saw/Hostel you'll pretty much know what to expect.
